Hello hello! It’s back-to-school season again and I’m here to chat about Paper Mate® ‘s awesome collaboration with Box Tops for Education ™. If you aren’t already familiar, Box Tops for Education™ is a program that helps provide educational resources to schools when you purchase select products, like Paper Mate® writing utensils!
Isn’t it amazing to know that all of those Flair and InkJoy grading pens you own are helping your school and students thrive? I know that personally, I’m going to take the #PaperMatePledge and purchase Paper Mate® writing utensils as my go-to source for all of my writing needs.
So what exactly is Box Tops for Education ™?
Let’s travel back in time for a minute! It all started in California in 1996. General Mills wanted to create a program to help support education and benefit America’s schools – so, Box Tops for Education ™ was born. Today, America’s schools have earned over $868 million, and you can find Box Tops on hundreds of products throughout the grocery store and online. That’s right… $868,000,000 to help schools provide the best for their students.
How can you participate?
The process is SUPER simple! All you have to do is download the Box Tops app. You will then be prompted to register and select a school and scan an eligible receipt containing Box Tops products (like your shiny new Flair pens, am I right?). Schools will earn 10 cents for each Box Tops product purchased PLUS extra earnings for any Bonus Box Tops opportunities.
