What is Creative Writing Bingo?
Creative Writing Bingo is an interactive bulletin board that students can use as an enrichment activity, extra credit, or reinforcement activity. For example: If a student is done with their work early, they can go to the bulletin board, select a creative writing option, and complete it for extra credit or extra practice!
How does Creative Writing Bingo work?
In this resource, you’ll find a Creative Writing Bingo card. Each student will receive one of these bingo cards at the beginning of the year. As they complete prompts, their goal should be to get 5-in-a-row (BINGO)! I like to place stickers on the squares as the students complete the prompts. It’s up to you to decide how you’d like to grade student work. Personally, I would suggest using the board as an extra credit option (each prompt being 3-5 points each). However, you could easily make it a required assignment throughout the school year! Choose the option that works best for you!
