Removable Wallpaper for the Win

Have you ever used removable wallpaper in your house or classroom? I have to admit, that is one of my FAVORITE ways to upgrade a space!! First of all, it feels so CUSTOM! And, secondly, it is easy to install and easy to remove!

In the most recent Extreme Makeover Classroom Edition, we installed this gorgeous removable wallpaper from Carter & Main. They have simple, peel & stick wallpaper that is completely customizable. So, I had an artist design a piece that fit our overall classroom theme. Then, Carter & Main printed it for us!!

Custom, Custom, Custom

When I say custom, in this case, it really is CUSTOM! You can design and print a piece that is on only your walls! But, also, there are so many beautiful designs to choose from, already! And, even with a pre-designed print, removable wallpaper will make your classroom (or home…or office) feel so personalized and unique!

Adding a simple pattern or a bold print to your space can really amp up its aesthetic. In fact, in this case, This wallpaper was THE piece in this room that made it feel complete. We had painted the walls, replaced the floor, and assembled the furniture before we installed the wallpaper. Everything looked beautiful, but didn’t feel finished. My mom and I had saved the wallpaper for last and after the hung the end panel,  we were simply amazed. It was perfect.

Easy to Install

Carter and Main uses a 100% USA sourced material. This “paper” is actually a woven fabric that is forgiving and easy to install. Because there is already an adhesive on the backing of the paper, the instructions go about like this: Peel the back, stick it in place!

Honestly, it is that easy. The printed panels line up perfectly and with a steady eye and some good measurements, anybody can install this wallpaper! Even if you make a mistake (which we always do at least once), it is a simple fix. Peel the panel back and try again!

The entire install can be done in a few hours (depending on the size of your wall). Once removed, the wall is back to its previous state! It won’t harm the material or paint underneath and it.
